Masasa Beach Travel Guide

If you are looking for a quick sand-beach-sun getaway without damaging your wallet, a visit to Masasa Beach in Tingloy, Batangas will be your best bet.

Tingloy offers pristine white sand beach, malinaw na tubig na di tulad ng malabong relasyon nyo, and instagram worthy spots perfect for those "emo-ako-ngayon" blues.

The locals of Masasa Beach will give you the warmest welcome and will treat you like a family instead of guests.

I visited Masasa Beach with my officemates and we sure did have an awesome time!

Underwater shot ba bes?

Selfeet! Some of my officemates saw pakiwans when we went snorkeling! So sad I wasn't there!

I was amazed with the life underneath the waves of Masasa Beach. Truly stunning!

Here's a quick list of travel time and expenses should you want to visit Masasa Beach

- Ride any bus going to Batangas Grand Terminal. Php127 from Alabang South Station, travel time is approx 2 hours.
- From Batangas Grand Terminal, ride a jeep going to Mabini and ask kuya driver to drop you off to Anilao Port. Fare is Php37 travel time is about an hour
- From Anilao Port ride a boat going to A) Tingloy Port (then ride a trike to Masasa -Php80) or B) ride a boat going directly to Masasa Beach (Php100)

You may pitch your tent for free or stay in a transient house (Php250-300/head/night). Please note that transient houses are quite far from the beach - about 10 minutes na lakad, though some transient house owners offer free boat transfer.

Good to know:
Buy the things you need in Anilao Port before heading to Masasa Beach. I didn't notice any wet market on the island but there are sari sari stores for your basic needs.

First trip going to Tingloy is at 7:00AM last trip is 4:00PM

First trip from Tingloy to Anilao is at 7:00AM and last trip is at 9:00AM pero kung maraming passengers merong boat at 2:30PM.

Please practice LNT. Bring your own trash bags and take them home with you.

Enjoy the island. Explore the lagoon and climb the Mag-asawang Bato. They offer island hopping for Php1500/5pax.

  3. Hi, we're planning to go this Wednesday but we want to be sure of everything :) I wanna ask the following:

    * Marami bang naiiwanan ng 9am na last trip from Tingloy to Anilao?

    Thank you :)

  4. Hi Kim,

    Thanks for dropping by :)

    - Bonfire is not allowed po sa beach.

Kung kaya, I would suggest na weekend kayo pumunta.
