Tagaytay

It was supposed to be a trip to Mindoro with Marquee but when we got to Batangas Pier, all trips going to Puerto Galera were cancelled due to bad weather. There were trips going to Calapan but we decided not to go na lang since it was already half after one in the afternoon and travel time from Calapan to Puerto Galera takes forever.
So we decided to go to Tagaytay instead. Tagaytay is one of my favorite places. It's just one jeepney away from where I live and there are tons of things you can do there.
Our first stop was in Mushroom Burger. It has been operating since ages as my Dad told me andun na sya since bata pa sya.
It was Marquee's first time to try Mushroom Burger. Glad it didn't disapoint him. I would recommend their Spaghetti (Php 75 with beverage) and Pinoy Mushroom Burger (Php45 for ala carte). Yum.
You can also try First Colonial's Sili Ice Cream. Its available in different levels depending on how spicy you would like your ice cream to taste. I tried level 2 and it was amazing. I didn't expect its "anghang" factor will burst once it melted in your mouth. It comes in levels 1, 2 and 3. But if you want to challenge your tastebud, try their Volcano version that comes with a free shot of milk to neutralise the anghang!

Because mas masarap ang buhay kung may konting anghang!
Where to stay
It's easy to find rooms and hotels in tagaytay as they are scattered everywhere. Trust me, madali lang maghanap. Tulad ng ex mong gago na hindi nahirapan maghanap ng bago.
We stayed at Keni Po Rooms located near Tagaytay Picnic Grove. They charged us Php1,200.00/check in (2:00PM-12:00Noon). Our room was cozy equipped with cabled TV, hot shower, strong wifi signal, balcony and fridge. Pool access is available from 8:00AM til 10:00PM. No reservations. From Olivares, we hired a tricycle and was charged about Php50.00

Other places to visit in Tagaytay are Sky Ranch, Mushroom Burger, Palace in the Sky, Puzzle Mansion and Picnic Grove.
