Chasing Waterfalls: Kilangin falls and Pagsanjan falls

Hello huguteros and huguteras! Kung sawang sawa na ang mga kaibigan nyo sa kwento mo ng ex mo na niloko, sinaktan, ginago at iniwan ka, give yourself some time to chill and connect with nature. Kung yung ilang oras na byahe na ginagawa mo dati makita lang sya eh nagawa mo, I'm sure kayang kaya mong gawin to. Kilangin Falls, also known as Bukal falls or Majayjay Falls is one of my favorite spots here in Laguna. Aside from being budget friendly, madali lang din tong puntahan. Its my second time to visit this place and I'm sure as hell it won't be the last. Wala lang akong picture nung una kong punta dahil pinasok ng tubig ang "waterproof" Xperia Z3 phone ko. Nakakabadtrip lang. Tulad ng pag pasok ng third party na sumira sa relasyon namin ng ex ko. Tengene. You can rent/ride a horse (na kamuka ng pinagpalit ng ex mo sayo) for P100 pesos or walk for about 30 minutes. Kilangin Falls (photo not mine. credits to http://biyahengoregutu.weebly.com/water-falls/ bucal-falls-aka-kilangin-falls) Kilangin Falls, Liliw, Laguna Aside from their best tsinelas and sapatos na kasing tibay ng pagmumuka ng gago mong ex, Liliw, Laguna also offers one of the best waterfalls near the busy Metro perfect for soul searchers, duguang-puso, and barkada looking for a quick escapade. It was Saturday morning when I left Sta. Rosa, Laguna to visit the little paradise. I was joined by my officemate Carlo Canindo who sent me a text saying that he will be a little late (dahil late nagising, nag-inom).  From the registration area, our tour guide, Kuya R-Jhay, lead us to the waterfalls. It took us about 30-45 minutes to get there. It was a very long and tiring walk. The road felt endless. Even if I have climbed several mountains already, this one was different. Basagan ng tuhod and laban para sa basag na puso.  I was stunned when we reached the falls. The freezing cold...

TOUR AROUND LAGUNA

Image
After a headache-inducing-body-aching-mind-fucking work week, I decided to take some time off so I could let myself glued on my bed for days and not worry about anything. But my superglue-my-body plan didn’t work - my feet told me to go somewhere. So I did. From Sta. Rosa, Laguna, I traveled all the way to Pagsanjan, Siniloan and finally, Sta. Maria (my Mother’s home town) where I spent two days and had one of the best solo adventures of my life. I reached Sta. Maria, Laguna around 8:00PM. I slept a little after midnight and woke up around 5:00AM. People here sleep and wake up early. I didn’t have a proper breakfast because I wasn’t that hungry. I only had coffee and cigarettes - my forever perfect combo! One of the kids told me there’s a place in Brgy. Cueva that serves one of the best tasting Lomi for only 20 pesos. I had no one to take me there (they were all busy) so I decided to walk. IT TOOK ME TWO HOURS JUST TO GET TO BRGY. CUEVA!  YES - I WALKED FOR TWO HOURS!! It was so ...
